Prism glass: a photo bent and split through shards of glass
Prism glass places a pane of large glass shards over the picture. Each shard bends the view its own way and splits it into red, green and blue by RGB split 6, while its edges frost over, catch a highlight from the upper left and meet the next shard along a fine dark crack. Cell size 11 keeps the shards big enough to read as broken glass, and Brightness 25 lifts the deep water in the preview so the jellyfish, repeated and shifted from shard to shard, glow white with rainbow fringes against a saturated blue.
Make it yours
Widen the rainbow
RGB split runs from 0 to 10. At 10 the color fringes grow about two thirds wider for a louder holographic look; at 0 the shards stay clear like plain cut glass, and only Strength decides how far they bend the picture.
Break the glass finer
Lower Cell size to 5 and the pane shatters into many small shards that scramble the picture more. Raise Strength to 90 at the same time and each shard bends the view almost twice as far.
FAQ
Which photos look best behind Prism glass?
Dark scenes with a few bright subjects, like the jellyfish in the preview, a lit product on black or city lights at night. The split colors only show where light meets dark, so a pale, evenly lit photo turns into a soft blur with faint fringes.
