Anodized Titanium: a lion head in bronze, purple and blue interference color
Anodized Titanium gives the lion head the heat-tinted look of anodized titanium jewelry and blued steel. A grey Metal (#8A8F96) carries Iridescence at 50, so the mane cycles through bronze, purple and deep blue as its curls face different angles, while Exposure 110 under a soft overhead skylight keeps the colors rich against near-black. It sits between the soft pearl of a light film and the full rainbow of a heavy one.
Make it yours
Steer the color range
Iridescence sets how thick the film is as well as how strongly it shows. Low values give a pale pearly sheen, around 50 the anodized bronze, purple and blue appear, and near 100 the full oil-slick rainbow takes over.
Shoot it like a catalog piece
On near-black the anodized colors glow. On a mid-grey Backdrop like #6B6E73 they read more like a real titanium object photographed for a catalog, with Gel light shifted to a neutral grey to match.
FAQ
What is anodized titanium and why does it shimmer?
Anodizing grows a thin, clear oxide layer on titanium, and its thickness decides which color light interference produces: bronze, purple, blue or gold. This preset imitates that layer with Iridescence, so the colors change with the angle of each curl in the mane.
